LABEL NOIR: Die Gelegenheit Vol. I&II
The only thing that sets Black actresses apart from everyone else is opportunity! And who has to create the opportunity? We ourselves! With Die Gelegenheit, Label Noir wants to offer Black and Afro-German authors a platform to present their stories and material to an interested audience. Another goal is to give Black and Afro-German perspectives space in the media cultural landscape, on TV and in the cinema, and to firmly establish them there. Cultural politicians, media makers and producers say they are desperately searching for this material without finding it. This is the opportunity to put an end to this desperate search. The evening with staged readings also offers cultural workers in key positions the opportunity to participate responsibly and supportively in the establishment of Black perspectives.
